“Graceland” Screen Caps: S2E06 — “The Unlucky One”

July 28, 2014 • Category: Gallery, Graceland 1

In my humble opinion, last Wednesday’s episode of “Graceland” – entitled “The Unlucky One” – was the best yet. Compelling, complex, and rich in character dynamics while simultaneously shining a spotlight on a very important, if often overlooked, issue: sex trafficking. My hats off to creator Jeff Eastin (and Serinda Swan, who suggested the storyline) for tackling such a sensitive topic.

Aaron Tveit’s acting in the episode was absolutely wonderful, showing the wide array of moral dilemmas Mike Warren must face on a case by case basis. Did he make the right choices? In the end, who do you think “the unlucky one” was? There seems to be no easy answer. While you think about it, check out the numerous HD screen caps from the episode now added to the gallery.

The latest episode of “Graceland” might have only been the fifth in its second season, but it sure was a doozy. As promised by USA, the episode as a whole was explosive and game-changing, ending on a nail-biting cliffhanger. Who do you think might have compromised the mission? And where do you think this will take Mike in future episodes? It’s hard to believe we’re not even halfway through the season. Screen caps from the episode have been added to the gallery.

Screen caps from the season two, fourth episode of “Graceland” have been added to the gallery. The episode, entitled “Magic Number,” started to heavily feature those pesky buses Mike Warren was surveilling in the opening episode of the season. Do you think Mike is onto something? We’re also seeing more of Jakes in S2 — how might his involvement in this case affect his relationship with his son? Mike wasn’t in this episode too much, but there are still 180+ HD caps now available.

4th Annual Bombers Boomer Broadway

On Monday, June 23rd, Aaron Tveit competed in a friendly game of softball as part of the 4th annual Bombers Boomer Broadway. Held at Yankee Stadium, the yearly event helps raise money for both the Boomer Esiason Foundation and The Actors Fund.

This time, Aaron joined the Bombers team — but, unfortunately, his team has seen better days. The Broadway Bombers lost against the Times Squares Slammers, 15-6. No worries, though: the event was for a great cause, and undoubtedly the players had a good time regardless of their score.

Pictures from the BBB have been added to the gallery. You can also find a brief clip of Aaron in a video below, which is part of actor James Snyder’s vlog series, “Hey Kid.” (Aaron appears at 9:18, for those who want to skip ahead.)

Although these screen caps have been in the gallery for a few days now, I’m writing an update just in case you missed their presence. What did you think of Wednesday’s episode of “Graceland,” the second in season two? For all the Mike/Paige shippers, you got a special treat at the end of the episode — how do you think that might effect the future of the show (if at all)? As heartbreaking as it is, I have to say I’m loving Jakes’ storyline and hope to see more of it in upcoming episodes.

Yesterday (June 16th), Aaron Tveit attended the opening night for Much Ado About Nothing, this year’s selection for the annual Shakespeare in the Park. As part of the summer tradition offered by The Public Theater – now in it’s 52nd year – Much Ado will entertain at the Delacorte Theater in New York’s Central Park.

If you happen to be in the City between June 18th-July 6th, be sure to stop by and support some local theater: it’s free! (Fun fact: Aaron’s former “Graceland” co-star Pedro Pascal [also recently seen in HBO’s hit series, “Game Of Thrones”] is currently starring in the play.)
