October 25, 2011 • Category: Gallery, Law & Order: SVU, Television News 2

A new video has just been posted on YouTube featuring a behind-the-scenes peek at “Law & Order: SVU.” In the footage, Michael Harvey – special effects make-up artist – talks about the various procedures done to make Aaron Tveit look like a street junkie. It’s a short video, but there’s some look into the transformation process and more details into just what was done to Aaron to make him look like Stevie Harris. Screen caps have also been added to the Gallery.

Many thanks to Tori at Dana Delicious for the HD caps.

Did you catch “Body of Proof” last night? Aaron Tveit made another T.V. appearance, this time on BOP, playing an arson investigator named Skip. The episode – entitled “Point of Origin” – was full of many twists and turns and a surprising ending. Aaron had a decent sized part as well, which was a nice bonus for fans. High quality screen caps are now available in the Gallery, but beware: there are spoilers, so look only if you’ve seen the episode and/or don’t mind knowing some details on the episode. You can also watch “Point of Origin” on Hulu, or stream it below:

Update on Upcoming T.V. Appearances

There are a few television appearances from Aaron Tveit that fans will want to look out for, including the much anticipated episode of “Body of Proof.” To keep it all in one place, here’s a special update on what to look forward to in the upcoming weeks, including a new, previously unannounced guest role:

» “Body Of Proof”

Aaron will be playing a character named Skip in this episode of BOP, entitled “Point of Origin.” After numerous setbacks over the past few months (the episode was originally supposed to air in March, before the show’s hiatus), it will finally be broadcast on October 18th (ABC). You can check out a promo right here, although Aaron isn’t featured very much in it. Expect screen caps shortly after the episode airs on Tuesday.

» “Gossip Girl”

As fans know, Aaron will be returning to the hit CW show as Trip Van Der Bilt in coming weeks. The episode titles and air dates are still unknown, but I can confirm that he’ll be back for a three-episode arc. He is currently wrapping that up, so I’d say to expect the episodes around mid- to late-November. Remember: photos of Aaron on set with Chace Crawford have been added here.

» “The Good Wife”

ATF can also confirm that Aaron will be making an appearance on the Emmy-nominated series, “The Good Wife”! He recently filmed a guest role in the seventh episode of this season, which is slated to air November 6th. Playing a character named Spencer Zschau, he’s on “the side of the law.” Stay tuned for photos and more information on this exciting development.

Aaron Spotted Filming “Gossip Girl” with Chace Crawford

As you may know, Aaron Tveit Fan’s policy on candid pictures is that we don’t post any — unless they’re behind the scenes footage. That said, ATF has managed to scoop up some shots of Aaron Tveit and Chace Crawford on the “Gossip Girl” set from last month, September 30th.

Many fans were wondering about his introduction before “God Bless America” at the Yankees game yesterday, in which it was stated that Aaron could currently be seen in “Gossip Girl,” and whether or not it meant a return from Trip Van Der Bilt. Well, I’d say these new pictures confirm that Trip will be back in season five.

“Law & Order: SVU” Screen Caps Available for “Personal Fouls”

Apologies for the delay in getting these up; my screen capping ability is rather limited on a Mac. As of October 17th, there are over 300 HD captures from the “Law & Order: SVU” episode featuring Aaron Tveit (“Personal Fouls”) that aired on Wendesday, September 28th.

Hopefully this goes without saying, but just in case: there are major spoilers, so proceed only if you’ve seen the episode or don’t mind knowing the ending. If you haven’t seen it, what are you waiting for? You can check it out on Hulu right now or watch it below.

New Stills for Upcoming “Body of Proof” Episode

Many thanks to Mayara at Hart of Dixie for the HQ pictures.

Stills – and an air date – of the upcoming “Body of Proof” episode featuring Aaron Tveit (as Skip) have finally been released. The episode was meant to air in March of this year; however, with the short season, it was relocated to the fourth slot of the new, second season. The episode, entitled “Point of Origin,” will finally hit ABC on October 18th.

To refresh memories, here’s a summary of the episode:

Peter stumbles upon a house fire in progress before the fire department arrives and is able to rescue a young woman. When Megan goes to the scene of the fire, she discovers that there is another victim who perished in the fire. This dismays Peter, who didn’t know there was someone else in the house and now has a personal attachment to this case. As Megan begins her investigation, she is usurped by veteran arson investigator, Ray Easton, and his young colleague, Skip, who challenge her at every step. When Megan complains to her boss, Kate wryly remarks that people usually find Megan impossible to work with, and the tension between the two women heats up.

Aaron Tveit to Make Appearance in Upcoming “Law & Order: SVU”

September 12, 2011 • Category: ATN Exclusive, General News, Law & Order: SVU, Television News 0

As confirmed by his manager, Aaron is slated to appear on “Law & Oder: Special Victims Unit” yet again! He has previously starred in SVU, in 2009, as a peaceful boyfriend who was investigated after his girlfriend was murdered. It is unknown who he’ll be playing in the upcoming episode, entitled “Personal Fouls,” but fans will find out soon enough: it’ll be aired on September 28th. A summary of the episode can be read below:

As Coach Ray Masters is inducted to the Metro Basketball Hall of Fame by former students Carmelo Anthony and Chris Bosh, an ex-player accuses the coach of sexually abusing him as a child. Detective Nick Amaro transfers into the SVU squad and is thrown on to the case. The detectives interview former players but no one admits to abuse, forcing Benson and Fin to dig deeper into Coach Ray’s most successful player, basketball star Prince Miller and his manager/cousin.

As an aside, fans can hopefully expect to see his guest role as Skip in “Body of Proof” this coming fall T.V. season. While the air date is currently unknown, the best guess is September-October.

New Layouts for Aaron Tveit Fan!

September 4, 2011 • Category: Site News 0

Aaron Tveit Fan has two beautiful layouts up, courtesy of Hillie at Patchwork Designs. After providing these pictures to fans a couple of weeks back, I really wanted a whole new look for the main site. A facelift, if you will! Patchwork creates some amazing, custom layouts and I was thrilled to work with her again to produce amazing results. The new look coincide with the closing of Catch Me If You Can, and so I have implemented a stream of “Goodbye” from the show in the layout’s header.

Additionally, the Career portion of the site is officially open! There, you’ll find a load of information regarding theatrical productions, films, and television series Aaron has been a part of. (There’s even a discography to browse through, with Lyric Archive.) Take a look around and enjoy!

ATF Exclusive: New Headshot of Aaron Tveit!

September 2, 2011 • Category: ATN Exclusive, Gallery, General News 0

Aaron Tveit Fan is very excited to debut this brand new headshot featuring Aaron! Manager Elin Flack sent it in earlier with hopes that the site would be the first to unveil the new image, and I’m honored to present it now. Although we anticipate that it’ll quickly spread among fans, I would personally really appreciate a link back to ATF (especially as it has been left untagged). Not only is it the courteous thing to do, but it helps the site with hits. Enjoy, and thank you again to Elin!

‘Catch Me If You Can’ Holds Meet and Greet with Aaron

On August 25th, Catch Me If You Can held a very special lotto that gave fans the chance to “meet and greet” Aaron Tveit after the show. While backstage, they were given a complimentary glass of either champagne or soda as well as a picture with Aaron. Photos from the night have been added to the Gallery, courtesy of the Catch Me Facebook. Congratulations to all those who won.
