The latest episode of “Graceland” – the fifth of the season, entitled “Piñon Tree” – featured quite a bit of Mike Warren, now finding his footing in a recently uncovered case. After piecing together “crazy birds and numbers” clues, he arrived at a young man named Gusti — who may or may not be the answer to Mike’s divine intervention. We also saw the conclusion of the Solano storyline, and were introduced to another budding plot after Mike broke into Charlie’s safe. Because this was an Aaron-centric episode, there are over 700 HD screen caps in the gallery.
Mike develops a plan to learn about the contents of Gusti’s trunk; and Briggs helps Paige go undercover with the Armenian Mafia’s shipping company.
In arguably the most innovative “Graceland” episode to date, we were able to slowly watch Briggs’ case with Ari unfold through a series of flashbacks — stylishly filtered in black and white with pops of warm colors. The entire house joined forces once more in this complex narrative, with Mike even getting a face-to-face confrontation with Ari at a gas station. The episode was truly beautiful, and you can now find over 200 HD screen caps in the gallery.
The death of an agent leaves the housemates reeling; Briggs and Johnny work to rescue Lucia, who’s being held by Carlito Solano; and Mike’s visions lead him to a small-time crook with a dangerous secret.
In the third episode of “Graceland” S3, it doesn’t appear as if Mike’s addiction to painkillers is going to get any easier, as he dons a hood and hits the streets for… supplements. Meanwhile, we’re starting to see the house band together to help one another and cases at hand — just like we, the audience, were promised. There are just short of 400 HD screen caps from the episode now in the gallery.
Briggs helps Ari Adamian remember the events of a night he can’t recollect.
You won’t have to be in New York to catch Aaron in his next musical role: he’s the one that Fox wants as Danny Zuko in their upcoming staging of “Grease: Live,” to air in January.
After the success of NBC’s The Sound of Music Live!, Fox announced back in 2014 that they would produce a “spectacular live event” of the Paramount Pictures musical, Grease. Entertainment Weekly initially reported that the iconic roles have been “tricky” to fill. Now, months later, Fox has finally found their Danny Zuko in Aaron Tveit.
“I’m thrilled and honored to be joining this incredibly talented team of actors in re-imagining this classic and beloved musical,” Aaron said of his involvement. “Playing Danny Zuko is a dream role and I can’t wait to be a part of all the fun that comes along with performing live on television.”
In addition to Aaron’s recent involvement, Carlos PenaVega is also joining the production. He’ll be portraying Kenickie, Danny Zuko’s sidekick. They will star alongside previously announced actresses Julianne Hough (playing Sandy), Vanessa Hudgens (Rizzo), and Keke Palmer (Marty Maraschino), with further casting yet to be announced.
Thomas Kail (Hamilton) and Alex Rudzinski (“Dancing With The Stars”) will serve as the stage and live television directors in this new production of Grease that Fox states will “re-imagine the hit crossover musical for an entirely new generation.” Adapting the 1950s-set movie-musical into its new live format are Broadway writers Robert Cary and Jonathan Tolins. Marc Platt – who recently produced the movie adaptation of Into The Woods – is set to executive produce “Grease: Live.”
The live television event is currently scheduled to air January 31, 2016.
Mike is back home at Graceland with his fellow agents — but is that a good thing? In “Chester Cheeto,” the second episode of the season, we see what appears to be Mike’s ever-growing dependence on painkillers to get through the day. Where do you see him going from here? At least he’s made peace with Paige, despite her questionable decisions in the past… You can now find over 450 HD screen caps from the episode in the gallery.
Mike’s addiction to pain medication impacts his ability to function in the field; and Briggs coaxes a former FBI agent out of retirement to help take down Ari.
With “Graceland” returning for its third season on USA Network, we finally got to see Mike Warren’s fate: he’s alive! After being resuscitated at the hospital, we return to “Graceland” in the episode “B-Positive” ten days after the incident with Sid and Mike — and all the complications stemming from it, including an early hospital release to ease tensions with Paige. I’ve added over 250 HD screen caps from the episode to the gallery.
