Although he just wrapped a lead role, Aaron Tveit will soon be seen in another independent film: Big Sky. Mexican filmmaker Jorge Michel Grau is directing the “neo-Hitchcockian thriller,” currently being filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bella Thorne and Emmy winner Kyra Sedgwick are set to star as mother and daughter, along with Frank Grillo. When recently speaking to Broadway.com, Aaron specified that his character has a dark past — and that he’s “good nervous” about physical impairments the role requires:

“He dealt with some abuse when he was a kid. You come to find out he got hit in the head with a shovel by his mom and because of this, he has some issues. It’s definitely a part I’ve never played before. I get to really challenge myself with some physical impediments. I’m nervous about it, but in a really good way. Good nervous!”

Further character details, casting information, and plot are all forthcoming. In the meantime, you may want to follow Jorge Michel Grau on social media: his Instagram is (currently) heavily devoted to set pictures from the film, and you can also find him on Twitter.
