If you’re looking for something to do on Thursday, the Manhattan Film Institute has got you covered. This year, as part of their Summer Film Camp, they are offering a Summer Film Series, in which multiple films are screened with commentary from special guests. MFI is teaming up with Peconic Landing Community Center in Greenport, New York to host this event.

On Thursday, July 17th, Tom Hooper’s Les Misérables will be screened at Peconic Landing as part of the Summer Film Series. As a special treat, Aaron Tveit will be at the event to talk about the Academy Award-winning movie-musical, including his filming experiences. Following the screening, Aaron will answer questions and provide commentary for the film, in which he played the student revolutionary, Enjolras. The screening starts at 7:30 pm.

(If you stick around Greenport, there will also be a screening for The Usual Suspects on July 19th.)

All of the Summer Film Series screenings are open to the public, and a single ticket to each event costs $15. You can purchase tickets on Peconic Landing’s website or call (631) 477-2583.
