“Graceland” Season 2 Returns Tonight

Just in time to help kick off summer, “Graceland” is back for a second season — starting tonight! What kind of high stakes will audiences see their favorites face this time? Check out a trailer above, highlighting some of the discrepancies when Mike Warren (played by Aaron Tveit) joins the Graceland house again after a stint in DC. As promised by Aaron, Daniel Sunjata, and even creator Jeff Eastin, the upcoming season will be even darker than the first. Don’t forget: season two starts tonight at 10/9c on USA Network.

Additionally, Just Jared recently interviewed Aaron about what to expect in season two. He talked about Mike and Paige’s (romantic and professional) relationship, the blurred morality lines both Mike and Briggs face, and whether or not that incriminating recording from season one will come into play again. Check out an excerpt of the interview below, then head to the source for more:

JustJared.com: We know that Mike is in D.C. at the start of the episode. What else can you say about where it picks up?
Aaron Tveit:
We pick up in an interesting place. As you saw at the end of [season one], Mike goes back to D.C. and I think it’s a couple months later. and Mike’s been working in this job, and he’s back on the track that I think he thought he wanted to be on — this fast track to upper management. I think he’s starting to deal with hitting some bumps in the road and seeing that D.C. is more of a bureaucratic place than necessarily one where he can go out and get his hands dirty and make things happen. So I think he’s more frustrated by that.
